Designation
The Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional Program is a three-part designation - workshop, exam and practicum. The program is offered in a three-day, 20-hour workshop taught by experts in the field of Medicare Set-Aside Allocation. The exam on materials taught in the workshop will be administrated the third day. To earn the Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional designation, a passing exam score and a take-home case study will need to be successfully completed.

Additional Seminar Benefits
  • Designed to allow participants to select and receive comprehensive training in Medicare Secondary Payer areas of interest. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Upon successful completion of entire course, participants will receive the CMSP Designation and Certificate.

The CMSP credential is an advanced program designed to be the most comprehensive, cost effective program teaching Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance. While the CMSP program includes in depth discussion of the Medicare Set Aside process, it teaches much more. You will learn all aspects of Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, applicable current legal cases, specialty claims, structured settlements, conditional payments and dealing with Medicare liens, Section 111 (MMSEA) Mandatory Reporting, Medicare Set-Aside Administration, Special Needs Trusts, Qualified Settlement Funds, and more.

The CMSP class is only taught through live class instruction by experts in their respective fields. It is not offered as a video or webinar. The average number of instructors per class is 14. The class is dynamic in that it is constantly being updated and the CMSP materials are the most current available. Always fresh, each class is updated just prior to presentation.

The CMSP credential is the most cost effective program intended to encompass all aspects of MSP compliance. You can take the course just for the information for $700 or for the CMSP Certification for $1,200, which includes the course, examination and practicum. There are no additional fees to engage a proctor or have the practicum scored. You have thirty days to complete the practicum and it is scored in a timely manner. Class size is limited to allow for maximum interaction.
